With all its infrastructure and 47 kilometers of shoreline, one might doubt the efficiency of transport. That's without counting on the shuttle boats that take you from one point of the lake to another (for a fee). Once you've parked your car, you're free to move around as you please. Better still, if you're on vacation there, the water taxis also take your bike.

For your walks, bike rides or morning jogs, theThe shore path runs along the lake for 30 km. More modest, the Puy de la Croix moorland interpretation trail, which is 2.5 km long, reveals landscapes shaped by man and traces the history of agricultural life in the past.

In terms of sports activities, you won't be disappointed: sailing school , canoeing , stand up paddle , windsurfing, wake boarding, water skiing , and all nature sports...everything is possible in Vassivière !
