La Binhata - Faux la Montagne service house

La binhata ("the hive" in Limousin dialect) was born in 2015 following the closure of our post office. The municipal council then decided, supported by the postal bank, to open a postal agency , and to take advantage of it to create a place of service for the inhabitants to which the library would be added.

We have therefore renovated the old tourist office, and Florence and Adelaide can now welcome the people of Fallois in a pleasant place where today one can choose books, browse, post a package, withdraw money, sit down for a chat, get information on tourist visits in the region, book a gîte, etc.

The name of the binhata was chosen from dozens of proposals from residents, by collective vote during the school festival in June 2015.

We hope to be able to add other activities such as a press point, a parcel relay and book delivery service, an internet consultation point, and any other ideas you would like to share with us.
